Description
Dedicated to my sister whose name means princess.
The original Zelda sprite came from the ending credits of The gameboy advance Zelda title: Minish Cap. A game I never actually finished but who cares! She looks cool. The sprite was turned into a monochromatic one and then turned into a cross stitch pattern by Missy-Tannenbaum who was kind enough to share it with me. [link] She stitched it first - only in purple. Go take a look!
This took two whole skeins of dark green thread (DMC floss 890) and was stitched onto 28 count aida cloth though the canvas was treated like it was 14 count. I don't remember the name of the color and the label is gone.
I plan on making a Link to match (already have the husband editing a sprite for me!), but in the meantime I need a project that will let me use a color other than green!! And Link couldn't ever not be green!

Wait this was stitched on a 28 count aida? This must be massive. I wonder how it'd look on a 16 count, since that's the only aida I have.
