Crono

Crono here, has been done for awhile - since sometime in August. He's just so big that I haven't been able to fit him into my scanner and I haven't managed to make it over to the print shop (it's so inconveniently located!!). But I recently threw him up in his frame as decoration for a dinner party (he's not even ironed... groan) and now that he's in his frame it's unlikely that I will get him scanned anytime soon (though some day this will definitely happen! Prolly when the next project gets done). In the meantime, this is a quick picture that I took with my phone.

The design is about 8 inches across and 11 inches or so tall. No wait! That can't be right! He's definitely slightly bigger than a piece of paper because he doesn't fit in the scanner! I guess I should actually get the ruler out! He is stitched with DMC floss on 16 count aida. I learned a lot about implied color working on this project. There's no brown or green any where in the piece, and in several places, there's no purple either. And yet, those are the colors your eye sees. Its crazy!!

I have him up on the wall between Marle ([link]) and Schala ([link]). They look fantastic together! I enjoy getting to see him everyday.
